Excavation survey of the west coast of the mountain tomb of the island
Before the excavation survey was carried out in the mountain tomb of the island, it was not recognized that there was production in the mountain tomb of the island. However, as we proceeded with the survey, the existence of production started to be assumed, and in the survey conducted in Heisei 18 (2006) the production appeared.
In the survey in Heisei 18 (2006), we detected the development of the western part of the ancient tomb at the center of the surveyed area. The plan shape of this production is a triangle, the height difference between the bottom of the circumference and the upper surface of the production is only about 50 cm, and from the point that the digging small groove dug in posterity has detected, You can see that the top of this production has been greatly scraped. Perhaps because the moat was a paddy field, it seems that the moat has been scraped to increase the cultivated area or to simplify the topography. The size of the production is about 16 m on the western side and 6 m on the south side. We are shaping by cutting ground. Although no stone was left in the production, stones corresponding to the first stage of the rear circle part were detected immediately in the north and additionally, since there is no big turbulence in the contours of the western side and the south side, triangle It is highly likely that the planar shape of an object is retaining its original shape.
Four other bamboo baskets were detected in such a way as to stick to production. Though it was known to other earthminds until now soil, the case where the real basket is excavated like this tomb is very unusual. Although it is assumed that it is what you put as putting in the offering when you do rituals as use, I do not know what is clear.
